Why Millions of Players Use MCCC

💾

Autosave

Never lose progress again. Configurable autosave intervals with multiple slot rotation — saves as "Save As" for safety.

⚙️

Deep Customization

Aging speed per life stage, skill gain rates, motive decay, relationship decay, bill amounts, household size up to 104.

💰

Financial Controls

Auto-pay bills, customizable bill amounts, child support, inheritance systems, and household funds management.

🏠

Quality of Life

Load-on-pause, auto testingcheats, full CAS edit mode, MoveObjects, BuyDebug, and game time speed control.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is MC Command Center safe to download?

Yes. MCCC is one of the most widely used Sims 4 mods with millions of downloads. The files are non-executable Python scripts (.ts4script files). Some antivirus programs may flag script files — these are false positives. Always download from official sources: deaderpool-mccc.com, Patreon, CurseForge, or the official Discord.

Is MC Command Center free?

Yes, always. Deaderpool has publicly stated: "The public releases for my mod will always be free. Mods should always be free." Patreon supporters get early access to pre-release versions, but the full mod is always available for free to everyone.

Do I need all the modules?

No. Only the core MC Command Center module (mc_cmd_center.ts4script) is required. All other modules — MC Woohoo, MC Pregnancy, MC Population, MC Dresser, MC Cheats, MC Career, MC CAS, MC Occult, MC Cleaner, MC Clubs, MC Tuner — are completely optional. Install only what you need.

Will MCCC delete my save or break my game?

No. MCCC is designed to be safe for saves. You can uninstall at any time by removing its files from the Mods folder. Your save will continue to work — you simply lose the MCCC features. The autosave feature uses "Save As" logic, creating new slots rather than overwriting.

How do I update MC Command Center?

Delete the old .ts4script and .package files from your Mods/MCCC folder, but keep the .cfg files (mc_settings.cfg, mc_tuner.cfg, mc_dresser.cfg) — these preserve your settings. Then download the latest version and extract the new files into the same folder.

My antivirus flagged MCCC — is it a virus?

No. MCCC files are Python scripts, not executable programs. Antivirus software sometimes flags .ts4script files because they contain compiled code. This is a known false positive. You can safely add your Mods folder to your antivirus exclusion list.

Where do I access MCCC settings in-game?

Computer: Click any computer > MC Command Center for global settings.
Click on Sim: Click any sim > MC Command Center for individual sim commands.
Mailbox: MC Cheats quick actions.
Console: Ctrl+Shift+C (PC) or Cmd+Shift+C (Mac), then type mc_settings.

Does MCCC work with the latest Sims 4 update?

MCCC v2026.2.0 is compatible with Sims 4 patch PC: 1.122.218.1030 / Mac: 1.122.218.1230, including the Royalty & Legacy expansion. Deaderpool typically updates MCCC within days of major game patches. Check the official site or Discord for the latest compatibility info.

What's the difference between MCCC and shift-click menus?

Shift-click menus are EA's built-in debug/cheat menus (enabled with testingcheats). MCCC adds its own separate menus accessed by regular-clicking on computers, sims, and mailboxes. They are completely different systems — MCCC provides far more options and features than the debug menus.

Can I increase household size beyond 8?

Yes, MCCC allows household sizes up to 104 sims. However, the game UI only displays 8 sim portraits. To manage larger households, use MCCC's "Modify in CAS" feature. Note that very large households may impact game performance.
